Default Help identifying a type of cane bass drone reed

A couple of years ago I bought a cane bass drone reed. I wanted to buy another one but am not sure which brand it is.

A description is as follows. This particular reed comes with a clear plastic/poly bridle (no tying). It has a series of small cut or burn marks on top extending across the tongue. Lastly, it came with a small piece of Christmas tinsel between the reed body and the tongue. If anyone can identify this brand of reed I'd appreciate the help.

The reed I do have plays excellent and wanted to get another one!

Thanks.

Hi all,

I used Husk cane reeds when I could get them. About a year ago I bought a G1 bass. I lifted the tongue the first day then the next day and it's been idiot proof ever since and Iv'e not had to touch it like the Canning bass it replaced!

John,
Does the G1 have a tied bridle?

Sounds like a Roddick reed to me.

Maybe you can post a picture of the reed?
