Default Shepherd vs McCallum Chanter: Which one gets more chicks?

Got new Shepherd MK3 and McCallum poly pipe chanters. Loaded them both up, both sound great, both pitching approx the same, both look good, both about the same $$, but I gotta return one, so the only question left.....which one gets me more chicks?

Thoughts appreciated!

A very worthy consideration, Hot Tub.

Sorry about the coffee, SF.

This is tough, friends. I must admit, I'm almost to the point of flipping a coin.

I find the Shepherd to me easier to play on (for the poly versions).
As for the chicks; they will all run screaming away from you whichever you choose.

Oh, you poor thing! Next time, remember to stop blowing on your pipes whilst talking with said chicks

Hi Ruddy, how are you able to return one, did you get them on a trial basis ? or your hoping to get a refund ?

If both are same in every way just get someone who is not a piper to point to one then choose the other.

Both are excellent chanters.

Here are my observations of the two.

Shepherd - quite easy to reed, great volume, excellent tone suitable for both band and solo work, smaller holes (vs. the McCallum band chanter the MKIII, the MKII has only slightly bigger holes)

McCallum - the king of volume, works with nearly 100% of the reeds on the market, bigger holes (if you go with the band version)

Either of these would be an excellent choice. As for chicks, well does she like it loud or REALLY loud?

Well if you "play it right"...either one will do the trick.
