Beautiful set - how do they sound? Have you made any audio files to share?

I love the thick tuning pins and the diminutive profile.

I own 2 sets of pipes made by Pierre Blanchet. Pierre specializes in crafting exquisite replicas of vintage pipes. Des oeuvres d'art as we would say in French! My first set is a half silver copy of a c. 1870 Duncan MacDougall pipe and the other a replica of a c. 1850 Alexander Glen set.

Lochaberaxe's new pipe seems to have some similarities with the Glen replica Pierre made for me in 2006 - although the projecting mounts are different.

Quel luthier a fabriqué l'instrument d'origine qui a servi de modèle pour cette réplique?

The set is in Bb 430, very loud drones sound with lots harmonics, perfect for piobaireachd and chanter with strong projection.

The chanter was made to keep the original specifications and pitch except the scale that was adapted to fit present one.
