I have managed to get another five tunes up on my You Tube channel, namely Struan Robertson's Salute, The Old Woman's Lullaby, The King's Taxes, Squinting Patrick's Flame of Wrath, and the Blind Piper's Obstinacy. I did have a go at Fair Honey for El Gaitero but it did not go so well with the finish well in sight! However, I shall not be defeated....

Since my last post a couple of weeks ago I've managed to record a further ten tunes; MacCrimmon's Sweetheart, The Groat, The Earl of Seaforth's Salute, Tulloch Ard, MacNeill of Barra's March, The Rout of the Lowland Captain, The Sister's Lament, Gun Ainm - Nameless -A Lament, The Bicker, and the Wee Spree.

Please feel free to go YouTube where I have posted them, and consider subscribing to the free channel. I hope they are enjoyed and in particular are a help to anyone who might be learning any of them. I think I've now done about 25 tunes since this health crisis has kept many of us from doing other things which we would normally enjoy doing.

I'll have another go at it! I learned it once a long time ago but never played it to an audience. I believe there's a very good alternative setting in Binneas Is Boreraig.

I guess I had the bog standard piobroch society setting from Hizzoner.
Good times on the stool of repentance there.

Good news, El Gaitero! Fair Honey is now up on my Youtube channel as per your request, along with The Lament for Mary MacLeod and The Battle of the Pass of Crieff, since I last reported.

I knew George M. Bell well, in fact I just corresponded with his son Duncan today.

For those interested my free channel can be found here http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbym...mgXeXtwlEjbPA/ , please subscribe if you like. I have completed nearly thirty tunes in the past while and I hope you enjoy them and that they might be a help to anyone learning them.

Best wishes to all.

MANY thanks for it Colin. Coincidentally before seeing your today post above I was noodling around on my phone and it popped up on my YouTube channel.

What a great rendition of such a pleasant tune.

Regrets haven't seen Duncan in a wee while with all the events cancelled.....but also coincidentally I posted a redundant set of diced hose to a chap in his same Pennsylvania town yesterday.

Ha, recalling last year sending my near 20 year old silver soled abw Naill chanter to him after following Al Gillies advice ď..first thing you do when you get a good Naill chanter is ..you break it..Ē
Dunc did a Yeomanís repair job..it sounds as good or better than new.
Alasdair was right.

Cheers again for Fair Honey....Iím going to drag out my Geo.M marked music for it and get hot on it.
