Default Tunes with Great Stories Behind Them?

A few months from now the St. Andrew's Society of Jacksonville will be having it's second (and hopefully Annual!) Scottish Heritage Education Day. I've been asked to make a presentation and I thought I might provide the history behind some pipe tunes.

So, I'm asking for suggestions of good tunes with good stories behind them that can be told in 7 minutes or so. I'm looking for about 6 tunes as I need to fill an hour.

I donít suppose youíre thinking of Piobaireachd but Iíll say it anyways, Lament for Patrick Og or especially Flame of Wrath have good stories.

Green Hills of Tyrol has a great story -- note for note from Rossini's opera William Tell.

So does Amazing Grace. AG might be the most interesting tune for a Southern audience given the South Carolina connection.

A more advanced tune with a cool story: Donald, Willie and His Dog.
