Liking the sound of those pipes Chris! (They belonged to my mothers cousin Archie Templeton). Strange how all these years later, the sound is so familiar even though I'm sure Chis will have doctored them in many ways for the better.

The only thing I did was to fix the broken middle bass joint pin and the crack in the outside tenor top. Oh and Archie had made some rings to go inside the opening of the tenor tops in order to flatten them and quieten them down a little.
I love playing them. They lock in beautifully and stay put. Terrific set of pipes.

I had to watch the video twice because I kept looking at and listening to the pipes instead of watching what was going on outside.

Like twitchyfingers, I watched it about six times, as I couldn't take my ears/eyes away from the pipes, so didn't notice what was happening outside.

Just like Chris

Otherwise, I'm sure he would have rushed outside to help Roxy struggling with the shopping

Kind of ironic that so many pipers are saying the same thing!
