Default What PC reeds do you like?

My PC (Dunbar poly XtrLong aka Millennial 2000) reeds have seen better days and it's time for me to replace them. I've been using a Walsh and a Q,
but I see no reason not to try something else if somebody has a good recommendation. I do like ones that are slightly on the easier side to blow.
Thoughts?

Walsh, Walsh, Walsh! Use them in my Dunbar poly Millennial and Naill blackwood PCs.

If you have a Gibson PC, then Gibson -- the cocobolo model is the sweetest PC I have ever heard.

If you need a strong reed in the Millennium 2000 PC, an Abbott is good. As David says, in a long Gibson PC, the Gibson reed is superb. It can also take a lot of air.

I can't see past the Fraser Warnock PC reeds. Never had a bad one yet. Bought a few G1 PC reeds and didn't like them at all. Sounded hooruva cac and were like blowing a pipe reed

Thanks all.
It's been awhile since I looked into them, so I was just wondering if there was anything knew or grand around. Guess I Will indeed kind of stick with what I have.

Probably order a couple of more just to try them. Not that they are that expensive, i just don't want to waste money on something that may not be suitable at all for my PC.
Again, that is a Dunbar Millennial 2000 with a water trap inside. And I do like a kinda lite blower outta the box, so to speak.

Although at this point I don't think I'm anywhere near the bother or needing to have to special order one made at x amount of pressure from APPS. I don't even know if something like that would really apply that much to practice chanter reeds. As I said I don't think I'm there to where it matters that much.

I was looking at that FASIER WARNOCK, so thanks for that referral.

I was also looking at the ABEDOUR. Anyone have any experience with them?

Walsh, Hagen, and Leiken are some that work great for me.

In my opinion nothing really compares to Walsh reeds for plastic pc reeds. I've been playing the same one for over 10 years and it still sounds fantastic in my long Naill pc.

I have two Dunbar X-long PCs (1 poly and one ABW) and use Walsh as well as Chris Apps' cane PC reed and Chris' red plastic reed which has more volume. All work well but I prefer the sound of the cane reed. Worth the extra cost IMHO.
