I realize the extant corpus does not support this, but it always occurred to me the the missing pages of Young George's Salute in the Hannay-MacAuslan collection may have included TaM, simply because every other cycle (except the Taorluath Gearr) has three motions.

It would be simple enough to include.

Which, by the way, suggests the possibility that it may have been up to the piper to decide how much to perform. We see this throughout primary sources: there was not so much a formulaic demand, as there were formulaic options.

That said, no score included a TaM in this tune.

For anyone interested, here's a practice resource I made for the Fraser style of the Toarluath a Mach ( which as far as I can tell is exactly the same as in the Moss style, except for the timing of the 'A' version).
