Default Pipe Band Vests/Waistcoats? Like Sandy St. James'?

With the passing of Sandy St. James, I am in in need of a supplier of low-cost vests for pipe band uniforms such as he supplied for years. Looking for a supplier who can provide 5-button vests similar to those which Sandy had.....in GREY.....and at a relatively low price point such as Sandy had.

Suggestions?

Our band has been buying great vests at around $20/ea from restaurant uniform suppliers... The name, "Five Star Uniforms," comes to mind...

I can't wait till a band shows up in dusty rose, fuchsia, grape, lavender, orange, peach, purple, or turquoise.

..don't mock..... with a vogue du jour tending towards heatherd tartans....I think you won't be waiting long. Waiting tables at discos might be a secondary benefit.

Any colour you like, so long as you don't wear them with short sleeved shirts.

I dunno... it's become "a thing" in the pipe band world, at all levels.

I think drummers especially like not having the sleeves in the way.

Personally, due to our brutal sun, I prefer to have my arms covered at our local hot Highland Games. That way I only have to put sunblock on the back of my hands.

Don't forget those ears and the nose, too. Says a guy who can get a sunburn watching fireworks.
