Default Colonel David Murray

Received an email from the Piobaireachd Society thus morning saying that
David Murray, soldier, piper, and former president of the Piobaireachd Society has passed away at age 95. His teachers were PM Willie Ross and RM Robert Reid. Murray was a devotee of Reid's interpretations of ceol mor.

He is the DJS Murray of march/reel fame.

And much, much more, including some wonderful articles in the Piping Times, and much support for piping in the QOCH/QOH over decades.
