Default Hide key signature in Sibelius 7

Howdy Sibelius Users:

I'm finally moving on from Sibelius 6 to 7. In Sibelius 6, you can notate the tune in D-major, then when you are done you can hide the key signature, but the tune still plays back in D-major.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to do the same thing in Sib 7.

When I check the "Hide" box in the key signature menu it hides the key signature but then puts accidentals in the bars.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Jim

If you don't get a reply here, there's a group on facebook with absolute gurus. It's called "Sibelius Software Forum"

Got it, John. Thanks for the tip. Joined, asked, had an answer in 90 minutes.

Using the "measure" tool, double click on the first bar of the tune and a window pops up. In the window, there's: Key Signature and a drop down menu. From there, pick always hide, and it will disappear but not add sharps to the measure.

Repeat for any other measures that show the key signature.

Hope this helps!
