Listed as Sgt Grant and Piper Johnson of The Highlanders - 4 SCOTS

The band then assembled and played on the steps after the dinner while Trump was departing.

I’d put money on it being a Shepherd Orchestral (only because that’s the standard issue chanter for the British army these days for playing with the ‘Mil’ (brass) bands. Directors of Music of the Mil bands apparently get very upset if Pipers turn up with anything else plugged in!

Hi Roddy,

It was a McCallum Bb chanter.

All the best,

Kenny

.

...Shazzam...Mystery solved...thanks Kenny....from the few moments video view I was 99.44% certain and surprised it was a McC chanter...actually a Ceol but then realized unlikely Ceol ...to play with the brass.
By its sole profile I was slightly puzzled ...hmmmm...not a Shepherd...albeit the du jour ‘milspec’.

So, apparently there were two pipers. The first clip ends too soon, this one goes until then end and is much better:

https://youtu.be/QAGk6CwxRoA?t=24m51s

Both pipers are visible 27:25, the other piper joins in at 27:29 and can be seen marching off at the end 33:49
