Good idea on this thread Bob - two CSS links:

http://www.csszengarden.com/

I love browsing the designs on csszengarden.

http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/

Eric Meyer has written several good books on CSS.

Here's a site useful for encoding e-mail addresses to hide them from spam harvesters:

http://www.u.arizona.edu/~trw/spam/spam2.htm

Says: "This form takes your e-mail address [snip] and converts it into the hex code for each character. It then creates a mailto: tag composed of these codes.

http://www.whois.net/

its old skool, but i like it.

lets you grab info on urls. see who owns it, when their lease will expire etc.

[Added by Andrew: There's also:
http://www.whois.sc which I like since you can simply type a domain in the URL off the bat, it's quicker:
http://www.whois.sc/somewebsite.com ]

I like www.sitepoint.com -- tons of technical and design-related information along with an extremely active forum community.

I was really surprised not see the following links here.

HTML Code Generator
HTML Basix - You just select what you want to do, select the available options, and PRESTO! your code appears in a cut-and-paste window.

Windows Questions Answered
The Elder Geek - This site has answers to most of the common questions you will ever have. For example, you happen to notice a bunch of services that are running in the background but aren't sure what they do and if they're really needed. Go here and look it up. Want to slipstream SP2 into your WinXP install disc? Need to add an option to boot into safe mode every time Windows starts?

Super-Duper FREE Utilities - NO sysadmin should ever be without these!
nLite - Strip out the garbage from your WinXP Install Disc and slipstream SP2 with this.
Bart\'s PE - Carry around a bootable Win-based CD with all of your disaster recovery utils on it.
Darik\'s Boot & Nuke - DoD-level disc wiping utility. We use this here at the Sheriff's Office to erradicate data from a suspect's computer once it has been processed.
RealVNC - I use this utility more than any other. EVERYONE should be familiar with this util.
RoboCopy - This is likely the most robust and configurable file copy tool ever created.

Flexible "liquid" layouts using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS):

http://glish.com/css/

Great design resource:

And the CSS Zen Garden (again) - really shows the power of separating content from design (click through the different style sheets - amazing stuff!):
