Hi Everyone,
I am currently converting my old home movies from VHS to DVD and I came across a short video of my self on bagpipes , playing with Fiddler, Jerry Holland, John Morris Rankin, piano and Dave MacIsaac on guitar. The occasion was a rehearsal for our 1990 Radio France concert of CB music way back in 1990. The video starts off with me on the pipes, with piano and guitar, and then legendary CB fiddler, Jerry Holland with piano and guitar. If any one is interested in hearing it (and seeing it) you can check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8c-XWbYnF8 I actually had hair back then and it wasn't grey LOL Cheers, Barry www.capebretonpiper.com |

Nicely done, Barry -- in a chair no less.
Really like the rounded style of reels in Cape Breton style piping. As an aside, still sad at the loss of John Morris. |

Well done, Barry and well-timed. The Halifax Tree gets lit tonight on Boston Common. A couple of years ago I played for the 90th birthday party of a son of Cape Breton, one Angus MacDonald and for teh last set, played dance tunes, seated "like at home".

Thanks for the nice comments. I forgot to add the title for two other tunes in the piping performance: Scotsville Reel and Cuir s'e chiste Mhoir mi. I suspect many pipers with a CB interest have figured those two out already. My apologies.
