Only fault I had with Canning’s was the body absorbed moisture...swelling... then the carefully set bridles needed to be re-adjusted to avoid shut off. And re-adjusted again when dry. Have not had such issue with EZ. Otherwise both great reeds imo. |

Personal preference.
In my experience the Cannings are one of the 'smoothest' set of reeds. Nominal and warm. The Blue plastic body set were made to solve the moisture issues if that becomes a problem, though I haven't experienced this with either set of Cannings. The Ezeedrones I feel have a bit more buzz which resonates well with the chanter. To my ears Ezeedrones can also be a touch 'nasaly' or 'stuffy' when compared to other reeds that sounds more 'open'. Both excellent reeds.
