Default eBay custom Edenbourl bagpipes

You might be wondering what "custom-made Edenbourl bagpipes" are, and why they might be worth $2,500.

Here they are! Custom-made pipes that "you can't buy off the shelf"

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Made...%7C6000%7C7000

The seller said he paid $3,400 for them

They look like McCallum.

Definitely McCallum AB4 Deluxe set.

Priced out on Piperís Hut, with every expensive upgrade I can make, I can only get the price up to $1980 USD. Not sure where the seller bought them, but if they paid $3400 they got ripped off and are trying to pass said ripoff on to someone else.

I've had students come through over the years from other teachers who sold them a regular length McCallum plastic pc for, "Only $200." or apologized for only being able to afford pipes from Pakistan as they only had $1200 to spend. The seller may well have been sold a bill of goods along with their bagpipe and not realize it.

Reminds me of the old saying: "If I could buy you for what you're worth, and sell you for what you think you're worth.."

One puzzling thing is why the seller thinks the pipes were made in Edenbourl.

They've done a copy and paste job to fix "Edinburgh set of Highland Bagpipes"

They do list McCallum under the brand listing. I kind of feel like flagging it? Maybe I'm a jerk and it's someone who is genuine and doesn't know better?

I think they're also on one of the FB sales pages for around 2K, so someone might have mentioned something to them.

Meanwhile there's a vendor in the UK selling a stand of S&I Glens for about the same price... gotta love the internet.
