Default Bagpipe ID ..maybe Starck?

These belonged to my father. They are blackwood and the mounts are genuine ivory. From the research I've done they appear to look most like Starck's, but I cannot find any stamps or marks anywhere. I do not know how old they are.

Id wager a fair amount of money on these being Starck - probably from the 40s or 50s. The first set of pipes I owned was virtually identical & I know was made in 1952.

By chance did your set have a stamp? I'm wondering if it is common for the stamp to be missing.

No stamp on the drones or stocks. The chanter (which for some reason I retained when I sold the pipes) is stamped with (from memory) H Starck & Late Wm. Ross, Kentish Town, London NW.
