Requesting The B52 Hornpipe Drum Score
I am looking for a drum score for The B52 hornpipe.
Has anyone transcribed Field Marshal Montgomery's score from their Live in Concert album? Thanks very much in advance. tomm

I was looking through Jim Bush's Beyond The Basics and Bingo! there was a score for The B52 hornpipe.

Jim Bush was, at the time, a member of the Canadian Forces in Petawawa, Ontario and the lead drummer and drum instructor.
He produced 5 different volumes in a Pipe Band Drumming series The Basics Beyond the Basics Theory My Favorite Scores Two Bar Phrases I found them at the North American Championships in Maxville, Ontario, years ago. However I believe Hugh Cameron may still sell copies. I think Jim in on this site so maybe he will chip in with more info. tomm

Hi, I'm new to this forum and also have been looking for a drum score for the B52 hornpipe. I've tried to get the Jim Bush books you mentioned but can only get volumes 1 & 2, from Ben Bhraggie House. Do you know where I can get volumes 3, 4 & 5 from? Or would you have any objections to emailing the B52 hornpipe to me?

Well, if you have book 2, Beyond the Basics, the score can be located in the back of the book.

I thought I had ordered Beyond The Basics and the Theory book is what arrived, it has Book two written on the cover. Although not what I was looking for it will be very useful for teaching
