Default Raglan Road by SLOT in Tully’s vol 4?

Pekaar’s index lists Raglan Road in Tully’s vol 4.

Can anyone confirm the existance (or lack thereof) of the slow aire and seconds in the book?

Not a direct answer, but… The Tune is also known as "The Dawning Of The Day"/Fáinne Geal an Lae.

It can be found in several sources, including in
Irish Tunes for the Scottish and Irish War Pipes and
The Brigade Book of Irish Pipe Music,
both available online through Ceol Sean.

Thanks for the replies, folks, but dawning of the day and its harmony are not the issue.

I was asking if Tully wrote out what he plays as the slow aire Raglan road intro in his 4th book, as it is listed. I want to know if it is what I am looking for before I purchase, as I can’t find a local copy to flip through.

I have all Terrys' books and am looking at Book 4 now, there's no Raglan Road listed there.

Are you trying to find music for the air as he plays it at the start of concerts etc. with the fancy "fluttering"? As far as I know, he never published that setting.

For the record, "The Dawning of the Day" march arrangement is in the book but no harmony.

Brilliant! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Bunner he hasn’t published it - at $5 a pop, he could make a few bucks.....
