Default Hard leather drone reed protector

This is going to be fitted to my pipe case currently under construction. I always wanted a device to protect the drone reeds, and secure the pipes. It's certainly not perfect, but it's a first - for me at least.

I play a leather bag without any gizmos, and even before I started playing my own bag, I've preferred letting the thing air out so that the seasoning will dry out and be ready to re-absorb more moisture next time. I just don't like removing the drone reeds from the seats, and I don't own any drone reed protectors (and I know I would lose one if I did). If this leather one is fixed to the inside of the pipe box, I won't lose it, and it'll help hold the drones steady in there. That's the idea anyway.

You're always thinking and have the skill to make what you visualize. Great idea!
