James,

I think about your dad a lot. Never met him but we shared many conversations about Ballooning and Crewing and he was a great advisor to my Bagpiping. For a person to leave a mark like this it is very special. Your Dad shared his special tune with me that he wrote for his police friend (Angel IN Blue). A talent that will never be forgotten.

Nice to hear from you again. How is your piping coming along?

Geesh, a year. I miss chatting with Scott on yahoo.
Today my sons and I are playing at a memorial day observation. We will be playing "The lament to Scott McClellan" with harmonies as written by my son and myself last year in tribute to both our troops and my buddy Scott. Cheers bro thumb

I wanted to remember/remind that it's been two years since Scott's passing.

Take a moment to think of your interactions with Scott - and smile. I do - at every outing!

Great man and a wonderful piper and friend. I was just a beginner and Scott was always there to offer assistance and poistive words to keep going. We had a lot in common other than piping We both enjoyed Hot Air Ballooning. If you thought the piping world was different you need to hang with some balloon pilots for a day. We really lost a gem off this site that day. I think about Scott a lot.

God Bless,
pj

I too cannot believe it's been two years. I was at a tenor drumming function a couple of weeks ago and someone asked me if I could find them a copy of "Angel In Blue". I almost choked up in trying to tell him I knew the person who wrote it. I am always just a little sad when I sign into MSN and he's not there.

Hope things are well on the other side Scott. Miss you lots.

James,

When did you move to Missouri? Are you going to school there now?
