Default Sad News....Scott McClellan

I have just received the sad sad news of the passing of Scott McClellan. This news comes from his son Jamie. I have no other details at this time but have alerted Bob Dunsire. If anyone can get more information, it would be appreciated.

Today, I lost another friend.

I'm numb. I had planned on visiting Scott on my next trip to Michigan in November. He was right at the top of people I'd like to meet. Absolutely numb. Gotta go now...I'm starting to tear up.

Oh my God. We are losing so many wonderful people this year. Rest in Peace, Scott, and my prayers to all your family and friends.

Oh my God. Shocked doesn't even begin to describe it. A top-notch piper and a wonderfully kind man. I'm completely stunned.

I was looking forward to seeing him and renewing acquaintance this weekend at the Alma Highland Games...

He is vivid and alive in my memories...

I just read a post by his son on Scott's MySpace. Apparently it was a heart attack. I'm in shock.

There are absolutely no words that can describe the sadness I feel.....for my friend, for his wife and sons, his friends, and the bagpipe community.

May you have eternal peace my friend.

No words here, either... just incredible shock and disbelief.
