Default Re: Editing / Changing Name

If I recall correctly, the option of changing your own screen name was allowed early onóit's been many years nowóbut it was confusing as hell when someone would repeatedly change their screen name. An-noy-ing!

An admin is the only one who can change screen names now. I'd recommend leaving a user name unless it's a big deal.

Didn't know that.... Thanks. Just one of the subtleties of difference between the legal systems of Scotland and the rest of the U.K. Land and house sales/purchases are also slightly different, aren't they?

Yes, it seems quite complicated. Lots of missives and things.

But back to the original question: how to change the way your name is displayed in the forum? I'd like to know this too because the forum would not let me use my usual, and preferred, username.
