Default What tune never gets old to you?

What's the one song you've never got bored of.

You've played it a million times and still look forward to it everytime you strike the bag?

I don't know about looking forward to playing it, but "AG" doesn't get old. Nor does STB, Green Hills, Battle's O'er. I still love playing "The Dark Isle". Then again, I have favorites that I've heard brutalized that ruins them for me. And then there are tunes that I detest; but that was not your subject.

I’d agree with Green Hills, and Battles O’er. As much as they’re played, I still enjoy them.

Also I’d say Heights of Dargai, and Heather Grant of Strathrye, these tunes go beautiful together, I listened to Murray Henderson play Heather Grant and Heights together in that order on his World’s Greatest Pipers album and I fell in love with that set.

IMHO 9/8 marches are very underrated and aren’t played as much as they should. Again IMHO!

/thread. But in all seriousness, I have a deep fondness for Highland Cathedral. STB also holds a special place in my heart, as it was my first exposure to piping when Jamestown P&D led the processional for my freshman convocation in college, way back in 2013.

Greetings to All,

As much noted above... there are... and ever
shall be... the many... (And... how not?? :)

But... and since you have asked for... one...
I shall have to... zero in on... "Wings."

From the Engineers... who are so often over-
looked... I always think of it as building... and
it has a lot... of Life to it... and Lift... :)

And I never tire... of hearing... or... playing it.

Regards to All,

Pip01

Please God No!! I'd rather have boiling motor oil poured in my ears than hear that!

In a solid second position on the hate chart is Amazing Disgrace.

Both tunes have a lot of Ds and usually get absolutely murdered.
