Why not just call them parlour pipes, which is what this design has been called for a hundred years at least?
I wonder what sort of reeds it uses. |

Why not Parlo(u)r pipes indeed? And why a moisture control system for a set with all synthetic reeds?

Great, another name to add to the list. I'm going to change the name of my smallpipes to Scottish shortpipes, sounds more delicious. And maybe I'll change my Border pipes to be called North American Half-longs.

The Scottish Shortpipes will be more buttery. The North American Half-longs will have an apple pie filling.
