Default The Angus Pipe Major Chanter

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1708165771...#ht_500wt_1156

You may have seen these on ebay and thought 'yeah right'

I thought it was worth the risk and, sure enough, a delightful old practice chanter arrived this morning in a Bowmore Single Malt cardboard tube.

The wood appears to be coco and is of the Glen era.

Above the High G is etched THE ANGUS PIPE MAJOR

I get the feeling it was turned by someone of Glen's class but the holes might have been drilled by another having a shot under guidance.

Maybe one Pipe Major Angus

Who knows?

..well,... when I'm clearing out excess pc's now I know what to do with at least some of those neat but empty single malt tubes my wife has been storing spaghetti packages in.

You could be right Pip01

I also won a fantastic Glen practice chanter that just arrived a couple of minutes ago.

Plus it's cold enough to be December
