Default Murray Blair Tuner App

I just updated the Murray Blair tuner app on my iPhone. One of the new features is support for bluetooth microphones.

So, anyone got any thoughts on a mic that would work? Any experience with bluetooth mics for tuning pipes? Does it work?

Scot.

Default Murray Blair Tuner App

I've been hesitant to update as it says, like most apps nowadays, that its optimized for iPhone 5, which makes me wonder if it was unoptimized for 4/4s.

Anyways, I'm trying to figure out how one would hold a Bluetooth mic, an iPhone, and still play to tune. Anyone got an idea how to set it up to be useful?

The other slight concern I would have is the electronics. You need low power consumption on a battery mic, especially when you also have to drive a radio, and this may lead to sample rates not being accurate. Test with and without the mic to ensure the readings are the same.

You wear it on your left ear. Since it's near the drones, it ought to work great.
