  • Petition to save BBC Pipeline

If anyone is interested in signing the petition to save BBC’s Pipeline hosted by Gary West and Crunluath a Gaelic piping show please visit the link https://www.change.org/p/why-we-must...redirect=false

Piping Press and Pipes and Drums have both written very good articles on what’s going on.

    Thanks...
Duly signed and circulated to as many people I could.
I listen to both, almost religiously and would hate to see them disappear.
If the BBC are short on licensing funds, or whatever the excuse, I'd gladly purchase a library of the last decade of broadcasts....
    Fingers crossed!

Are all the piping shows going away?

Over 8200 signatories now on the petition. I doubt this will change minds at the BBC however.

If anyone hasn’t signed the petition please help out. Finlay MacDonald will be going before Scottish Parliament to try and save Pipeline and Crunluath. The petition is nearing 10000 signatures. Hitting that milestone is a big deal.

                        thanks for your time.

By the way, Gary West will be teaching at Cairdeas (Vermont Bellowspipe School) this coming July. i.e the week of the 24th. Gary is a wonderful teacher, player and scholar of the music. A great opportunity for those that might be interested.

Enjoy Your Piping! with Gary West Podcast

                          Cheers,

                            Looks like we're losing Pipeline:

The other two shows are fantastic, too. The decision makes no sense.

The BBC is on a diversity kick, so if you are a pale faced, straight male with no physical disabilities, then you need to take a number.
