    ,..seeking good example pix of Regimental or high grade civvy drummers correctly /uniformly wearing the sporran on the right buttock.

        Like this? You have one outlier who has his too far around, but most have it in approximately the right spot:

          Yes....that's it!! I am amazed by the quantity of drummers or drum corps that haven't been taught this from day 1.

              It's a pet peeve of mine, so for the most part, our drum corps wears them correctly. I'm pretty short waisted, so even playing bass I have to move my sporran to my hip so it doesn't get in the way of the carrier.
