Any results yet from the weekend's fun in Bethlehem?

I only saw the Sunday rounds, but the bands turned in some very nice performances - especially in the Medley competition.

I wasn't there Sunday, but the Grade 4 results from Saturday were:

1. Scotia Glenville
2. City of Albany
3. Buffalo Caledonian

I'm slowly posting videos from the Sunday event. Look for YouTube user WGority.

WARNING: They're done using a handheld point'n'shoot camera. Resolution was 8.9 MP. There was also a lot of comments/noise from surrounding spectators. Complaints about low res or shakiness are not welcome. Thanks.

Thanks for posting those...I just watched Roisin Dubh's medley...nice recording.

Also, nice set by RD (small band but big sound), and props to their drum corp for blending w/ a slightly below-strength pipe section.

Someone also posted the entire MSR contest (half hour video, roughly)...good quality as well. The Youtube video is called "Celtic Classic 2011 Grade 3 Pipe Band Competition - MSR Judging."

The consistent comments on RD among the spectators near me was that they had a great sound for such a small band.

Congrats to Scotia Glenville and City of Albany on 1st and 2nd at Bethlehem and to date a 2nd a 1st overall in EUSPBA grade 4.

Did you get the 2011 MacMillan medley by any chance? Very much enjoyed the other videos you posted...would like to hear my own band as well, if you have it.
