  • Rhythmic Fingerwork - companion video?

Is their any DVD or video that accompanies the rhythmic fingerwork book? I have the CD but a visual helps too.

    Hi and welcome!

There is no video/DVD that Jim made to go along with his book. And I doubt any are in the works, but Jim is active here on the forum, maybe he'll chime in.

Andrew, perhaps Jim would give you permission to make a video of you going through his book!

I don't know, Michael, I might have better luck having Jim pay me NOT to represent his brand!

No DVD with the books, just audio recordings.

Jim, thanks for your investment of time/knowledge in Rhythmic Fingerwork... my instructor is using it as my guide... question Sir - the CD remains untouched in the back cover... is it possible to purchase an online WAV or MP3 file?

My new laptop doesn’t have a CD player anymore… And having the ability to use the sound file selectively while I go through the book exercises will be a big benefit… Not the hijack the thread... but any possibility? Thanks!

Digital access download would be nice as iPads and new computers don’t have disc drives.
Love your book Jim it’s one of the best tools of good clean piping IMUPO- new acronym, I’m my unprofessional opinion... LOL thanks for your hard work and publishing it.

Piobaireachd Fingerwork does include convenient access to MP3 audio files through a URL provided in the book. I'd be delighted to see a similar approach in a future volume of Rhythmic Fingerwork. Heck, I'd happily pay for access to the audio files alone if they were ever to be made available in a similar format.
