  • Piper MacKay and the Hearse

Piper MacKay was outside a pub drinking beer and playing a few sour tunes with a couple of pub mates.

MacKay stopped dead in the middle of a tune, removed his hat and bowed when a hearse and a a series of cars with headlights on drove by on the way to a burial site.

Said a mate: "Wooh, MacKay. That was right honorable of ya. I have a newfound respect for ya."

"Well, it was the least I could do . . . she was a good wife to me."
